About HILLCREST HIGH SCHOOL


Hillcrest High School is a co-educational secondary school in Kwa-Zulu Natal that has served the local community for 50 years. The school offers over 45 extra-curricular activities across sporting, cultural, service and academic programmes, nurturing the holistic development of learners, and providing an environment in which learners can become the best they can be. From their first day in Grade 8, when new learners ring the school bell to signal their arrival, to the day they ring the bell as a Grade 12 to announce their departure, the growth and development of each learner is prioritised by the school community. The school motto - "If it is to be, it is up to me!" fosters a sense of purpose, encouraging ownership and accountability.
